              Ekaakshara Preschool and day care, Vidyaranyapura celebrates  "A day with insects".

             Creepy....Craawlies..... little cute colourful insects, some with soft and some with hard body, some with 6 and some with 8 legs.  These bugs are everywhere.  Insects are the largest group of animals on earth by far.

Benefits of Insects:-

               Insects are very useful to humans and to the environment. 

They help in pollination. They help in transporting the pollen to the other flower for fertilization process.

          In garden, these insects act as natural pest controlling agents.

          Honey, lac, dyes, and beeswax are produced by insects which are very useful to humans.

          Insects also play a greater role in increasing the beauty of nature through their vibrant and beautiful colours.

          Many types of insects are also been used in medicines.

          So, by knowing these things we come to know that insects are very important to nature and as well as human beings.  It our duty to pass on this knowledge to the toddlers who are always  curious and inquisitive. Keeping this objective in mind, Ekaakshara Preschool and Day Care, which is a Preschool with only female staff, celebrated  "A Day with Insects".

                The toddlers came dressed cutely as beautiful little tiny insects.  The premises was decorated with colourful and different creepy and crawling insects in the form of different charts and buntings. The toddlers thoroughly enjoyed the experience of coming dressed as their favourite creepy crawlies.

          Worksheets were given to the kids to understand the concept better. The tiny angles had a lot of fun while identifying the insects from the charts and the buntings.

          A takeaway insect craft was given to the toddlersto mark the event.

Ekaakshara Preschool and day care, Vidyaranyapura celebrates  pink day.

          Pink, a sweet and delicate colour represents caring, compassion. It is also associated with giving and receiving care. The colour pink signifies sympathy, respect and kindness.

          Having colour theme at the Preschool, which has only female staff, is the best way to reinforce the concept. This will invigorate the concept which is already learnt.

          The classroom was adorned with charts and buntings of different objects  with beautiful flowers, animals and things which are pink in colour. 

           The tiny angles had come dolled up in pink attire. Teachers were also dressed elegantly in pink attire. It was a pleasant atmosphere.

          Worksheets were given to make the concept more clear. The tiny angels enjoyed colouring the worksheet.  A cute pig craft was also make by the toddlers with the assistance of the teacher.

          In short,  pink day was a day with merriment and learning with innovative methods.

Ekaakshara Pre School and Day Care.

            The colour purple symbolizes power, nobility, luxury, and ambition. It  is associated with wisdom, dignity, independence, creativity, mystery and magic.

            The colour violet and purple represents the future, the imagination and dreams.

            Colours always lighten and brighten our environment. The tiny toddlers were elegantly dressed in purple. It was a special day for the toddlers.

            To reinforce colour concepts at the pre-primary level, Ekaakshara Preschool and day care, a preschool which provides strong basic foundation celebrated purple day.

            The premises was decorated with purple buntings of different things of different things, which were apt to the topic.

            Purple colour objects were placed in a corner of a room. There were balloons, grapes, play things, dolls, pencils and many more.

            Worksheets were given to make the tiny tots understand the concept better.

            A takeaway in the form a fish craft was made. The tiny tots enjoyed all the activities to the fullest.

            Purple day was a day filled with joy and learning with fun.

Flowers Day  :- 

Ekaakshara Pre School and Day Care, Vidyaranyapura celebrates flowers day.

             Ekaakshara PreSchool which is the Preschool near me at Vidyaranyapura.

       Flowers day was celebrated by the Preschool kids of Ekaakshara Preschool, a school with nominal fee structure. 

       The Preschool was decorated with colourful and beautiful buntings of various flowers.  The classroom too looked very appealing to the eyes with the colourful buntings of different flowers.  It was a feast to the eyes by looking at the colourful buntings.

       The kids were shown some real flowers and were asked to identify the different flowers and their flowers.  The kids in our preschool, which has only female staff, enjoyed the sight of beautiful flowers with variant colours.

       A fancy dress was organised where the tiny tots came dressed as flowers and were looking adorable.

       A worksheet was also  given based on the theme, so that the toddlers understand the concept well.  A takeaway in the form of craft was given to the kids which was made by the with the assistance of the teacher. The children did the craft with lot of interest.

       Flowers day was a day full colours, new energy which also included fun filled learning.
